Talos
On this side we see a beautifully detailed winged male figure—most likely **Eros** (Cupid in Roman terms), the god of love—standing nude with large wings spread wide. He holds what appears to be a torch or staff raised to his head, in a dynamic, almost dancing pose. The Greek inscription below reads **ΤΑΡΑΣ** (TARAS), naming the city after its mythical founder Taras, son of Poseidon.
This is a rare and artistic type from the 4th–3rd century BC, capturing classical Greek mastery in miniature. The patina and wear only add to its ancient charm! 🏛️✨
