Prayer to Erebus

O Erebus, primeval God of Darkness,

From the void you emerged, shapeless and vast,

Before the dawn of light, you held dominion,

A canvas of night, upon which stars were cast.

I call to you, from the depths of my soul,

Where shadows dance and secrets unfold,

Embrace me in your mystery, your ancient embrace,

In the stillness of darkness, find solace and grace.

O Erebus, shroud of the underworld deep,

Where spirits wander and mysteries sleep,

Guide me through the labyrinth of the unknown,

Where truth lies hidden, and wisdom is sown.

Grant me the strength to face my own darkness,

To confront my fears, and conquer my weakness,

In the depths of your embrace, let me find,

The courage to seek, the light for my mind.

O Erebus, eternal and profound,

In your infinite darkness, may truth be found,

I offer my reverence, my awe, and my trust,

In your power and wisdom, forever I'll entrust.
